Assents of Property

Sometimes the ownership of a home may pass automatically to the survivor on the death of one co-owner. However this may not necessary be the case and a transfer, or assent, may be required. Equally a house may have been left to the next generation and ownership will need to be transferred. In liaison with a private client solicitor from our specialist department, we can provide the seamless service.

Assents often throw up unusual and unique problems particularly where a property has been in one ownership for a period of time. When the owner dies the knowledge of the property is lost and it is important to piece together as much information as possible as remains for use in the future. Our expert property lawyers are here to help.
