Making a Will

We advise a whole range of clients – from farmers and entrepreneurs, to the retired, to high net worth individuals, to the man in the street – on their Wills and wider succession and estate planning, including relevant inheritance tax implications and savings.

Will drafting can involve a short and simple Will or a long and complex document (including trusts, for example) or anything in between! When you instruct us to make a Will for you we always tailor our Wills to your wishes and circumstances as far as legally possible.  Our fixed price Wills are availabe from our sister website coodesdirect.co.uk

The legal term for dying without a Will is “intestacy”. In those circumstances the State dictates who benefits from your estate. When you make a Will it means you can be sure of your property going to the beneficiaries that you choose, in the shares that you decide.

Should you wish to make an amendment to your Will it may not be necessary to re-write the entire document. We can help you decide whether you need simply to add a short extra section (known as a codicil) to achieve what you would like to do.
