Lawrence Ford has joined the Family department at Coodes.
Lawrence joins Coodes’ Truro office, where he will work closely with existing Family solicitors and head of department Elise Alma.
Lawrence, aged 48, said: “Coodes has a superb reputation in Cornwall and the South West for its legal expertise, whilst also being friendly and approachable. I thoroughly enjoy working with people and supporting local families, and I’m particularly interested in mental health law. Coodes is firmly committed to maintaining excellence in family law practice so it’s great to have joined a firm which shares my ethos.”
He joins Coodes after five years working with Cornwall Council and 17 years with Penzance law firm Boase Bennetts.
Lawrence is a member of the Law Society’s child care, mental health and advanced family law panel. He is also an accredited specialist with family law body Resolution.
In his spare time, Lawrence enjoys painting, photography, property development and spending time with his family.
Coodes’ managing partner Jeremy Harvey said: “Lawrence’s appointment is a significant one for Coodes. His wealth of experience is a huge asset to the firm and we look forward to him becoming a key figure over the coming months.”
