Pam Johns raises money for Help for Heroes

During her year as President of Holsworthy Rotary club, local solicitor Pam Johns raised over £3000 for Help for Heroes, her chosen charity for her year of office.

Today saw that money handed over to Dr John Wilson.. John a local GP in Bideford for 30 years, himself from a military background in the medical branch of the Royal Navy and collecting the money of behalf of Help for Heroes said:

“I have always had an interest in some of the emotional and psychological problems of ex-servicemen and women. This money will go a long way towards helping them”.

Pam Johns said “I would like to say thank you to all the organisations and the public who have supported me during my year as president of Holsworthy Rotary Club, enabling not only me but other members of our club to raise this money”.
