An award winning Cornish firm of solicitors has announced details of its charity of the year.
Coodes Solicitors, which has seven offices in Cornwall and Devon, will be supporting the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust for the next 12 months.
The announced was made at Coodes’ stand at this year’s Royal Cornwall Show.
Coodes’ managing partner, Jeremy Harvey, said: “We’re thrilled to be supporting the Cornwall Air Ambulance this year.
“The charity provides a vital service in helping to save time and lives in Cornwall, and one that we feel deserves our help.
“The whole team are coming up with ideas of what we can do over the next 12 months to raise as much money as possible.”
Coodes’ plan to hold a series of events over the next 12 months to raise funds for the charity.
Cornwall Air Ambulance’s fundraising manager, Susie Smith, said: “We are delighted that Coodes have chosen to support the vital work that we do at the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.
“They are such a trusted and well respected company at the heart of the Cornish community and we are really looking forward to working with them over the next 12 months to keep the air ambulance saving time and saving lives.”
Coodes’ also announced that the firm had raised £5,000 for last year’s chosen charity, Childrens’ Hospice South West.
Jeremy said: “I’m proud of the team for reaching the £5,000 target for Childrens’ Hospice.
“From collection jars in the office, through to a family activity day, and jumping out of an aeroplane, everyone in the team played an important role in the fundraising effort.”
