Coodes Solicitors welcomes back David Smith to its Holsworthy office

South West law firm Coodes Solicitors has welcomed back conveyancer David Smith to its Holsworthy office.

David Smith grew up in Holsworthy and has returned to Coodes after spending a few months with North Devon firm Peter Peter & Wright, working in Bideford. David will work with Holsworthy colleagues to advise clients who are buying or selling homes in West and North Devon.

David’s family has lived in the Holsworthy area for generations. Prior to his legal training, he ran a local building society branch. He is a Trustee of Holsworthy Community Property Trust and was, for many years, a Governor of Sutcombe Primary School, which his own children attended.

Coodes Solicitors’ Residential Property team has recently been shortlisted for two national awards: The LFS Conveyancing Awards and the ESTAS Conveyancer Awards, which reward outstanding customer service.

Speaking of his return to Coodes, David said: “Coming back to Coodes’ Holsworthy office is a bit like returning to my family. It is great to be working in my home town again. I have long-standing relationships with many of the town’s estate agents and other businesses, so it is wonderful to be part of that community again.

“With the team here just being shortlisted for two major national awards, it is a very exciting time to be re-joining Coodes.”
