Property expansion for Coodes Solicitors

South West law firm Coodes Solicitors has enhanced its property expertise by appointing two new lawyers. Based in Holsworthy and Falmouth, the solicitors will expand the firm’s Commercial and Residential Property teams.

A qualified solicitor, Lianne Priest brings 13 years’ experience in property and family law and has joined Coodes’ Falmouth office as a member of the Residential Property team. Most recently, she worked for Falmouth firm Hine Downing, where she held positions in the property and family departments. Lianne grew up in the Falmouth area and now lives in the town with her young family.

Lianne said: “Joining Coodes is a fantastic opportunity for me to return to conveyancing. The firm has an excellent reputation, both for customer service and as an employer, and I am really looking forward to being part of the growing Residential Property team.

“I am really excited to be returning to my conveyancing roots and helping clients in and around Falmouth to buy and sell properties. My family experience will also be an asset, particularly in dealing with some of the complex issues around some property sales and purchases.”

Fiona May is the latest addition to Coodes’ growing Commercial property team. Based in the Holsworthy office, she will support business and agricultural clients with commercial property sales and purchases. Fiona trained and worked in London before relocating to North Cornwall and joining the property team for Holsworthy firm Peter Peter & Wright Solicitors, where she managed a large conveyancing caseload including advising agricultural clients.

Fiona said: “Coodes is a key player in the region and I have been impressed by their dynamic, forward-thinking approach. Coodes is expanding its property offering to businesses so this is a really exciting time to be joining the firm’s Commercial Property team.
