Coodes Solicitors have announced the creation of a new Employment Team, to service the growing demand across Cornwall and the South West. Employment services were previously teamed with commercial disputes, but following sustained demand across the region the decision was made to establish a standalone department.
Steph Marsh, an Associate at Coodes, has been promoted to lead the newly formed team building on her success since joining Coodes in January 2024.
The Employment Team supports both employers and employees to keep ahead of their rights and responsibilities. They look after clients when things go wrong but also promote good HR practices as standard. The Employment Team will support on matters from employment tribunals and grievance procedures to contract reviews.
Steph Marsh, Head of Employment at Coodes, said: “The creation of a new Employment Team will help us to deliver high quality and expert legal support to our clients across the region. Our client base is going from strength to strength, as we continue to receive instructions from local businesses in relation to their contractual documents and employee management.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the continued growth of the Employment Team and assisting with the employment law needs in the South West.”
The team are currently offering a free no-obligation review of an employment contract, to ensure that it is compliant with recent employment legalisation updates.
