National Conveyancing Week (NCW) 2025 is almost here, this year running from the 17th to the 21st March. There is plenty going on to mark the week both within Coodes Solicitors and outside of it. The Residential Property team is always ready to offer advice and give support to our clients.
Kate Bayley, Head of Residential Property at Coodes, discusses National Conveyancing Week and what to expect from this year’s celebration.
National Conveyancing Week was introduced after the pandemic when conveyancers were faced with high volumes, forever changing legislation and processes. This was coupled with changing working environments and sadly even hostile conversations with fellow professionals.
The Conveyancing Foundation launched NCW in 2023 and the event its celebrating its third edition this year, once again with the aim being to bring the profession and its stakeholders across the industry together. This week is about learning, education, collaboration and care.
At Coodes we are strong supporters of the initiative because we believe it is extremely important that the industry promotes and educates on the vital role conveyancers play during your home move.
NCW is action packed with learning, webinars, meetings and debate. Topics span health and wellbeing, learning and technical updates, recruitment, training and retention. Also, as a first for this year, TED-style talks are included in the schedule. Most importantly, we must not forget it’s an opportunity to share a coffee and cake! This year, our offices in Truro and Launceston will host their own NCW coffee mornings and we look forward to seeing those who have been invited.
In my mind, collaboration is the key. NCW provides the opportunity for us to meet with professional colleagues, agents and clients to openly discuss the positives, and the roadblocks, that might be encountered during a conveyancing transaction. Ultimately, we are working together to create a smoother conveyancing transaction overall. For conveyancing or other residential property queries, get in touch with Coodes’ Residential Property team.
