Hayley Gaffney, Associate from Coodes Solicitors, has become the third member of the firm to be awarded full membership to the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) – the UK’s leading body for legal professionals specialising in disputed wills and inheritance and probate claims.
It places Hayley among the country’s top specialists in this complex and sensitive area of law and follows her recent recognition in the Legal 500 as a key lawyer in contentious trusts and probate. Having been promoted to Associate in 2022 as a result of her ability and contributions to the Inheritance and Trusts Disputes team, Hayley is known for her client-focused approach, expertise and efficient handling of complex cases nationwide.
Hayley said: “I am absolutely delighted and extremely proud to have been accepted to join ACTAPS as a full member. Seeing my name listed alongside all of the other exceptional specialists is a huge achievement. I look forward to continuing to develop and demonstrate the excellent service and exemplary advice clients receive from the specialist team here at Coodes.”
Hayley joins Coodes’ Melanie Grose, Head of Personal Disputes, and Ben Sidgwick, Associate, making Coodes the firm with the highest number of full ACTAPS members in Cornwall.
Melanie said: “Coodes’ Inheritance and Trust Disputes team now has the most full members of ACTAPS in Cornwall, which is an extraordinary offering. I am honoured to be part of that alongside Hayley and Ben.”
“Hayley’s membership of such an esteemed association is thoroughly deserved and recognises the exceptional solicitor she is. Well done Hayley, and well done Coodes.”
