Richard acts as a trustee, an executor, an attorney and a Deputy for many clients of the firm.

Repeatedly recommended in Chambers and Partners UK, in its 2017 edition, Richard was described by commentators as “exceptionally intelligent and technically extremely able.”

The Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2018 comments that Richard “leads the firm’s Court of Protection team and is described by a peer as a “good private client lawyer.” He advises clients on a wide range of matters, including tax and estate planning and wills, and has a particular interest in charity law. One interviewee says: “I have always found him to be very good with clients and very knowledgeable. He does very well on the technical side and is also very personable.”
