No Win, No Fee personal injury solicitors

Personal injuries are hard to deal with – causing pain and disruption to your life, potentially for years. If you’re considering claiming compensation for an injury that wasn’t your fault, the last thing you want is the risk and worry of having to pay legal costs for an unsuccessful claim.

Our specialist personal injury solicitors have over 40 years’ experience in winning personal injury claims. As APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers) accredited lawyers, we understand that recovering from a personal injury can be a highly stressful and emotional time. It is important that claiming compensation does not add to the pressure and stress that you are experiencing. That’s why we offer a no win, no fee funding agreement on eligible claims.

What is no win, no fee?

Under a no win, no fee agreement, we will waive our fees if a claim that we take forward is ultimately unsuccessful. That means that if we are unable to secure compensation on your behalf, we won’t charge any fees at all – there is no financial risk for you.

Winning compensation can be an important step towards getting your life back on track following a personal injury. Our dedicated personal injury lawyers will work hard to ensure you receive the maximum compensation and that the opponent pays most of your legal fees.

If a no win, no fee claim is successful, your opponent will have to pay most of your legal fees. In addition, we are entitled to charge you a success fee under the terms of the agreement and this will be deducted from your compensation. There may also be some costs not paid by the opponent that may be deducted from your compensation. We will. of course, advise you if this is the case. However, if a no win, no fee claim is unsuccessful, no legal costs are paid by either party, provided you comply with the terms of agreement.

Are you eligible for a no win, no fee agreement?

We assess each case individually so that we can provide you with the best advice and funding options. To be eligible for a no win, no fee agreement you will need to have a strong case that meets our assessment requirements.

If your claim is not eligible for a no win, no fee agreement, or if this agreement is not the best option, there are a number of other funding options, including funding through a trade union or an existing insurance policy. Many household insurance, motor insurance or travel insurance policies include cover against legal costs for personal injuries so it’s worth checking what insurance you have in place, if any. They may try to persuade you to use their panel solicitors but you have the right to choose who you wish to instruct.

For most claims, unless you are part of a trade union or have insurance cover, a no win, no fee agreement is the best funding option. Our expert personal injury team will talk you through your options and provide advice on the best funding route for your individual circumstances.
