Charity Bike Ride in Aid of Devon & Cornwall Air Ambulance

Thu 15th Aug 2013

We are excited to confirm that our first big charity event to raise money for Devon and Cornwall Air Ambulances will be taking place on Friday 6th September 2013, when a team from Coodes and some others will be cycling from our Holsworthy Office via all our other offices (Launceston, Liskeard, St Austell, Newquay, Truro) to our Penzance Office to raise funds for the Air Ambulances.

This is a tough 115 mile one day challenge from Devon to the tip of Cornwall. The team will be arriving at each office where volunteers from each office have kindly offered to help by providing food and drinks.

Did you know it costs around £1700 per mission to send the Air Ambulance up each time totalling around £2 million a year to keep it flying and they receive no funding from central government for emergency missions. So you will appreciate your help in raising funds for the Air Ambulance is very important because you never know when you, your family or your friends may need it!
