Coodes Solicitors shortlisted for top conveyancing award

Coodes Solicitors is once again a finalist in the LFS Conveyancing Awards. These national awards reward the best customer service among the UK’s conveyancing firms.

The Residential Property team has been shortlisted for the Regional Firm of the Year: South and South West award 2019, alongside three other firms from across the region. The team was runner-up in this category in both the 2017 and 2018 awards.

Sarah Cowley, Partner and Head of the Residential Property team at Coodes Solicitors, said: “This is a fantastic achievement and it is great that we have been shortlisted, particularly when you consider the large geographical area where all the finalists in this category come from.

“Our Residential Property team prides itself on giving clients straightforward, jargon-free advice to ensure everyone understands the process and is kept informed throughout. We work hard to ensure all of our conveyancing clients have the very best experience, so it is very rewarding to get this external recognition for our customer service.”

This year’s award judging was as rigorous as ever, including an application form, a mystery shopper exercise and a phone interview. It also involved a new element. Three members of Coodes’ Residential Property team took part in a compliance quiz against the clock, which focused on cyber crime.

Cyber crime also formed part of the initial application form alongside questions around communication and growth.

The winners will be announced in a special gala dinner in September, an event that is a highlight in the conveyancing calendar.

Sarah added: “This shortlisting has given the team the recognition they deserve – that they are one of the best in the whole of the South and South West. I am incredibly proud to be shortlisted for this award and I know my team are as well. We are all looking forward to celebrating alongside other firms at the ceremony in September.”
