South West law firm Coodes Solicitors has been shortlisted for a national award for its work in supporting people buying and selling properties. Coodes is a contender for Conveyancing Firm of the Year – South in the Eclipse Proclaim Modern Law Conveyancing Awards 2017.

Coodes Solicitors is now up against firms in London, Middlesex, Southampton and Oxford, for the prestigious prize. The winner will be announced at a black tie event in Liverpool on 13th July.

Now established as one of the most exclusive events on the legal calendar, the Eclipse Proclaim Modern Law Conveyancing Awards were created in 2016 to celebrate talent, success and innovation in the conveyancing industry. The awards are judged by a panel of leading industry experts. To select the shortlist, they considered a number of factors including each firm’s approach to customer service, approach to IT security and cybercrime prevention and ability to retain clients.

Peter Lamble, Chairman at Coodes Solicitors said: “Already the market leader for conveyancing in Cornwall, being shortlisted for this award now firmly positions Coodes among the top firms in the South of England.

“This achievement is testament to our strengths in a number of areas, including our innovative approach to working with estate agents and other law firms to make buying or selling property easier for clients. We also put forward a strong case for our approach to protecting against the growing threat of cybercrime. Perhaps most importantly, we have a very strong track record with clients. Our experience is that if they need legal advice in the future, their immediate reaction is to ‘come back to Coodes’.

“I am delighted that we have been shortlisted for this award and would like to congratulate the whole team on their hard work and commitment.”
