Trio of Coodes lawyers earn recommendations in latest Legal 500 guide

Three lawyers at South West law firm Coodes Solicitors have been singled out as leading individuals in the region in the latest edition of one of the legal profession’s most respected guides, the Legal 500.

Coodes is recommended for its contentious trusts and inheritance work and its knowledgeable team is recommended for the quality of their services, which involves assisting clients seeking to challenge the validity of wills and also handling trustee and executor disputes.

Singled out as leading individuals are Partner Colin Hunter, who heads the Personal Disputes department at Coodes, and two ‘key figures’; Melanie Grose, Partner, who is described as ‘an extremely competent lawyer’, and Ben Sidgwick, Associate, described as ‘outstanding’.

Peter Lamble, Chairman of Coodes Solicitors, said: “To be recommended in this way is a fantastic endorsement for the firm and in particular the Personal Disputes department led by Colin.

“These recommendations are largely based on independent interviews with clients so for Ben and Melanie to be described as ‘outstanding’ and ‘highly competent’ in their work is a real achievement and says a great deal about the level of service we deliver.”

The last two years have seen Coodes go through a period of rapid growth as the firm has expanded with a number of key appointments and has also opened new offices in Falmouth, St Ives and St Austell.
