Lisa began her employment at Coodes in 2016 as a secretary and has worked her way up to paralegal during that time. She is currently studying for her qualification with the Council for Licensed Conveyancers having already completed her Level 3 CILEX.
Lisa also assists with training new staff on our case management system and assists the management team with new enquiries.
During her time as a secretary, Lisa assisted the department with many residential transactions during which time she gained experience and knowledge in all areas.
This experience allowed her to become confident in the process and begin her own caseload.
Now as a paralegal, Lisa enjoys managing her own caseload of files whilst studying and receiving support from her colleagues. Managing her own caseload means that Lisa is responsible for the conduct of the files from start to finish. Lisa also works alongside Sarah Cowley, assisting with the management of her caseload consisting of freehold sales and purchases along with some leasehold transactions
If you were to ask Lisa which part of conveyancing she enjoys the most it would be freehold sales. The sale of a property can be very stressful and Lisa strives to make the journey as stress-free as possible for her clients. Lisa is therefore passionate about providing a smooth service for clients and being there to answer any queries they may have.

Lisa is extremely experienced in the sale and purchase of a property. Whether you require support selling or buying your property, Lisa understands the importance of a smooth move. Extremely knowledgeable, she will keep you updated every step of the way and will ensure your sale/purchase is completed quickly.
Assisting with multiple large sites and undertaking a deed of variation to alter ground rent clauses within their leases. Dealing with these allowed Lisa to gain experience, particularly where a lender or third-party solicitor is involved. She assisted on these cases during her time with Sarah Cowley.
Lisa often works with the Wills and Probate team when they need to sell a property for a deceased client. She finds this type of case very fulfilling.
Lisa enjoys any type of sale case, but particularly enjoys the satisfaction of concluding matters which involve management companies.
