Sarah Cornish has specialised in Private Client work since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2007.
Sarah is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association and a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).
Sarah deals with all aspects of Private Client work including the preparation of all Wills, from straightforward Wills to those dealing with the protection and preservation of wealth, through to tax and succession planning, administering estates and the creation, administration and termination of trusts.
Sarah also acts as a professional Attorney and Deputy for many clients of the firm.
Sarah has a wide client base which includes many agricultural clients. Her involvement begins at the stage of succession planning through the generations working with the family and their accountant, or farm advisor, through to obtaining Probate and the Administration of Estates.
Sarah regularly deals with high value estates successfully making both Agricultural Property Relief and Business Property Relief claims.
She also deals with estates involving non-domiciled testators and beneficiaries and estates with overseas assets.
Sarah also advises on issues surrounding asset protection in the context of Will drafting and also in relation to the creation and administration of Trusts.
In addition, to advising on and preparing Powers of Attorney, Sarah acts as a professional Attorney and Deputy which involves responsibility for overseeing the financial affairs of vulnerable clients.
