Representing a victim of domestic abuse where I obtained a Non-Molestation Order for their protection. This had an impact on the Children Act proceedings where the other party was found to be guilty of domestic abuse. This enabled my client to provide a safe environment for the children.
Representing a client with mental health issues who had her child removed from her care by the father, successfully going through the court process and obtaining defined contact arrangements for the client and her child as it was in the best interests for the child to be able to spend quality time with the mother.
Representing a client where the child had suffered a non-accidental injury and findings were found against the ex-partner that they had caused such injuries. This was a complex case which resulted in the child being placed with family members, but allowed the client to have supervised time with the child until they are in a better position for the child to return to their care. This was in the best interests of the child and the client.
Successfully assisting client with regard to a Public Law Outline meeting (PLO) to ensure the child remained with the client and no further action being taken by the Local Authority.
Representing clients in cases where one parent has alleged parental alienation against the other parent. Ensuring that appropriate quality time is spent with both parents.
