Approximately half of Alan’s caseload involves estate administration with the remainder of his time spent dealing with Trusts, Wills and Powers of Attorney.
One recent matter involved the administration of a large taxable estate with multiple assets which required complex double grossing inheritance tax calculations.
Dealt with a complicated intestacy with an estate value in excess of £2Million with over forty individual beneficiaries, some of whom had moved abroad many years ago and had no knowledge of the deceased or their inheritance.
Recently made an urgent Lasting Power of Attorney for a client with deteriorating mental health and borderline capacity thereby enabling decisions to be made which she can no longer make for herself and her finances managed in her best interest.
