Lucy has been practising Family Law since she firstly qualified as a Legal Executive in 2002 and then qualified as a Solicitor in 2004.
She deals with all aspects of Family Law including high net worth divorces and private children matters, including matters involving Trust Funds, businesses and cross-jurisdictional assets. She has considerable experience in domestic abuse cases in the context of private children matters and divorce matters.
Lucy is often instructed by the Official Solicitor to act for family clients who lack capacity. This includes being instructed by parents who have involvement with the Local Authority due to non-accidental injury.
Acting on behalf of a client who lacked capacity in divorce proceedings and taking instructions from the Official Solicitor.
Acting for a parent in a non-accidental injury case resulting in the successful return of the child to the parents.
Qualifications and Accreditations
- Qualified as a Solicitor in 2004
- Resolution accredited Specialist in Children Law and Domestic Abuse
- Member of The Cornwall Law Society
