Amy has experience in the preparation of all types of Wills including the more complex Trust Wills such as Life Interest Trust Wills for clients who may have married for a second time in later life and wish to protect a share of their estate for their children from their first marriage, and Discretionary Trust Wills for clients who may want to exercise some control over their estate after their death.

She can offer advice on lifetime tax planning as well as tax planning in the context of estate administration post-death.

Notable Private Client cases

  • Estate Administration

Involving the estate of a deceased individual who died without a Will and had numerous assets in the United States of America as well as land and property in the UK. As there was no Will, the beneficiaries of the estate were unknown and had to be traced as well as the value of the assets in USA having to be ascertained and then released in compliance with USA probate requirements.

  • High Net Worth Estate Administration

Finalising a large multimillion pound estate with multiple assets as well as a large number of beneficiaries, both charitable and non-charitable. The estate had an inheritance tax liability with a complicated split between the tax-exempt charitable beneficiaries and the non-exempt non-charitable beneficiaries.

  • Complex Wills

Drafting complex wills which incorporated a discretionary trust for the benefit of adult children with disabilities. Our clients wished to ensure their child was adequately provided for, for their lifetime.

Client Testimonials

Her service and attention to detail was excellent and she was so easy to talk to.

I found Amy business like, kind and understanding with no pressure. What I felt was a very unpleasant task for me was made into a straight forward will which I was content with.
