Gareth Monk joined the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team in June 2023, having had an extensive career history in providing first class customer service in a variety of other fields. He is the first point of contact for potential new clients and is extremely proficient in providing excellent one-to-one care and support for his clients and ongoing cases.
Gareth is dedicated to supporting prospective clients through what can be a very distressing period in their lives and is passionate about providing access to justice for all.
Gareth has always had an interest in the field of law after having studied for an MSc in Forensic Linguistics at Bangor University. His role at Coodes will allow him to expand his skillset and further his career in the field.
Gareth deals with all varieties of enquiries to the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team. No two days are ever the same and neither are the cases.
His role involves speaking to prospective clients to obtain a full picture of their recent injury or negligence, requesting medical records, and assembling bundles for trials or medical experts. Gareth liaises directly with clients when it comes to taking witness statements for their cases or attending inquests.
He is very knowledgeable of the complaints process and helps clients through this if required.
